Situated on a hillside near the Lugano railway station, Parco Tassino offers many grassy spaces from which to enjoy a beautiful panorama of the entire city.

At the top is the Enderlin Tower, named after the family to whom the park once belonged. On the square in front of the tower, stone tables and benches allow visitors to linger in the shade of centuries-old trees.

Within its 21,000 m² surface area, there is also a play area for children and a dog park equipped with:

  • drinking troughs
  • entrance areas and areas where dogs can be let off-leash
  • benches to rest while supervising the dogs
  • Roby-Dog baskets and crates.

Formerly owned by the Swiss Federal Railways, the park was purchased by the City of Lugano in 1970.
