Corporate mobility

Thanks to the Piano di mobilità aziendale comprensoriale (District-wide Corporate Mobility Plan), data on movements and measures adopted by companies to facilitate the mobility of their employees are collected, with the aim of proposing short- and long-term solutions to optimize home-work routes.

In particular, the Piano di mobilità aziendale allows to:

• improve the combination of means and modes of transport
• promote interconnection between different transport networks
• influence individual change
• reduce car trips
• reduce the number of occupied parking spaces

For the implementation of the measures developed by the Piano di mobilità aziendale, the following have been created:

• the Centrale di mobilità (Mobility Center) with a website that provides information on the measures and the service offerings of the involved working area
• the App MobAlt

The mobility plans of the City of Lugano

The City of Lugano has developed corporate mobility plans for:

• Lugano center
• Pian Scairolo (in collaboration with Grancia and Collina d'Oro)
• Lugano Nord (in collaboration with Canobbio and Porza)
