Lugano on foot

In recent years, the City of Lugano has made a special effort to make the city center increasingly attractive and people-friendly with the creation of spaces totally reserved for pedestrians or with limited traffic. Examples of this are the pedestrian zone and the meeting zone, designed specifically for those who wish to walk through the city streets in complete relaxation and safety. This is an effort in favor of slow mobility, intended to encourage pedestrians and bicycles and discourage the use of motor vehicles.
