Payments for invoices made in cryptocurrencies are processed through the financial service provider Bitcoin Suisse AG, Grafenauweg 12, 6300 Zug (www.bitcoinsuisse.com), using the Bitcoin Suisse Pay service. The terms of use and data protection policy of Bitcoin Suisse AG can be found at the following link: https://bitcoinsuisse.com/legal.

If a full or partial refund is required for an invoice previously paid in cryptocurrency, it will be issued exclusively in Swiss Francs and transferred only to a bank account in the name of the invoice holder via a bank IBAN. Any exchange fees, exchange losses, or payment costs incurred by the user during the cryptocurrency payment will not be reimbursed and remain the user’s responsibility. Refunds will not be made in cryptocurrency or to third parties other than those indicated on the original invoice.

The City of Lugano declines all responsibility for temporary or permanent interruptions of the payment service provided by Bitcoin Suisse AG, for malfunctions of the user’s personal digital wallet, or for issues encountered by the user in transferring the corresponding cryptocurrencies to the service provider.
