Collezione Giancarlo e Danna Olgiati

More than 200 contemporary art masterpieces including paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, installations and videos ranging from the early 20th century to the present are housed on the basement floor of the Central Park building, just a few steps from LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura.

The Collezione Giancarlo and Danna Olgiati, part of the circuit of the Museo d'arte della Svizzera italiana (MASI Lugano), through ever-changing arrangements and temporary exhibitions turns its particular attention to 20th-century avant-gardes such as futurism (with a collection of more than 1,200 works of art), spatialism, arte povera and nouveau réalisme, as well as neo-abstractionist and neo-pop trends of the early 21st century.
