ViviLugano Summer Camp
ViviLugano is a summer day camp dedicated to Lugano youth between the ages of 6 and 16. Online registration.
The ViviLugano summer day camp offers a rich opportunity for children and young people to meet and spend the month of July enjoying fun, discovery and friendship in a carefree atmosphere. The program of activities, run by monitors, ranges from daily outings to sports and creativity to ensure healthy fun. Participants are divided into groups by age range.
To whom it is addressed
The colony is intended only for children and girls domiciled in Lugano, ages 6 to 16.
Younger children must have already attended first grade in the 2023/2024 school year.
Older children must have attended the fourth grade in the 2023/2024 school year.
When
The 2024 edition of ViviLugano runs from 1st July to 26 July 2024, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Upon request, students can be accommodated as early as 8 AM by announcing themselves at the time of registration.

Registration
Online registration for the 2024 edition will open from Monday 18 March to Wednesday 10 April, until all available places are filled, assigned in order of arrival.
Registration is binding and cannot be changed or cancelled. No refunds will be made for any reason except illness or injury substantiated by a medical certificate. The administrative fee is not refunded under any circumstances.

Indications on the personal situation of those enrolled
The presence of behavioral, relational difficulties, a disorder of attention and/or concentration, placement in a special school or inclusive class are all aspects to be reported directly by email or to the ViviLugano switchboard prior to enrollment in order to be able to assess the possibility or not of inclusion in the colony. If reports regarding health status or already diagnosed behavioral problems are not communicated, partially indicated or omitted in the enrollment, the management cannot be held responsible for any kind of situation generated as a result. ViviLugano disclaims any and all responsibility in relation to the consequences of the omission, partial or total, of already diagnosed health or behavioral conditions that may expose the participant, other participants, monitors, to any damage or risk, which remain the sole responsibility of those with parental authority over the participant who filled out the registration form. In case of the need to reduce/suspend attendance for the above reasons, no refund will be made.
Disciplinary measures
In serious cases of indiscipline and disrespect for the rules of community life, the management reserves the right to suspend the participant, after notice to the family. Suspension may result in automatic exclusion from subsequent colonies offered by the City and does not entitle the participant to a refund of the registration fee.
Prohibition of the use of cell phones and similar mobile devices
For organizational reasons, to promote interaction among participants and to ensure the privacy of other participants and facilitators, the use of cell phones and other similar mobile devices is not permitted during the colony. Management reserves the right to collect cell phones and similar devices from participants. Withdrawn devices will be kept and will be returned at certain prearranged times or at the latest at the end of the day.
Late registrations or extensions
Late enrollments or extended enrollments (extensions) will only be possible from Wednesday, 24 April 2024, depending on the places still available.

- Online payment via Postfinance Card, Mastercard or VISA credit card, Twint or via cryptocurrency
Costs
The cost of the camp consists of:
- the administrative fee of CHF 50.- (payable once)
- the weekly participation fee of CHF 60.-
- the Arcobaleno season ticket for zones 10 and 11 to enable travel by public transportation, to be purchased at TPL or SBB counters (one week CHF 28.-, four weeks CHF 55.-). The Junior card or season tickets for accompanied children cannot be used. Any fines for the absence of the ticket are the responsibility of the parents.
Meals are not provided by the camp; only snacks are provided.
