Inaugurated in 1995, the Cornèr Arena - Pista ghiaccio Resega is a flagship of the City of Lugano. The facility remains open year-round and, in addition to hosting hockey and skating, it is also used for other sporting events, cultural and recreational activities, concerts, and fairs.
