Playing Fields

Basketball, five-a-side football, roller hockey, and floorball can be freely practiced in the many outdoor courts spread across almost all districts of the city.

Beach volley

Beach volleyball enthusiasts can play on the courts in Via Maraini, in Pregassona.

The facility is open to the public outside the hours booked by sports clubs for their training, competitions, and events.

Opening days and hours

Every day: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (Court 2)

The courts are made available to Lugano sports clubs upon request to the Divisione sport.

They are currently used by:

SUPSI - Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana

Società di Beach Tennis e Beach Indiaca di Lugano
Lugano Beach Tennis

Sports clubs outside Lugano, companies, and private individuals can also rent the facilities.
