Market in the Darsena

An experimental and collaborative project in the splendid setting of Ciani Park to support micro-entrepreneurship and professional activation, give visibility to local creative production, and create a meeting place.

Open for five weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays, the Market in the Darsena event offers exhibition space to rotating micro-entrepreneurs, allowing them to present and sell unique handcrafted products, designed or made by them in Ticino. The product categories present include clothing, accessories, home furnishings, body care products, candles, and perfumes, all characterized by high aesthetic quality and limited production runs.

The exhibition area is designed to offer a harmonious aesthetic and sensory experience, with curated setups and an environment that fosters interactions between producers and visitors. A refreshment area with local products and outdoor tables overlooking the lake contributes to making the Market in the Darsena a place of gathering and discovery, open to both citizens and tourists. An ideal place to visit even on rainy weekends.

This initiative aims to support local creativity, promote craftsmanship, encourage professional activation, and incentivize a sustainable economy, while also enhancing the territory and its creative and productive excellences.
