Centro sportivo Cornaredo

Cornaredo has been the sporting heart of the city for decades and is currently undergoing a transition phase during the construction of the Polo sportivo degli eventi (PSE), alongside the development of the Centro sportivo al Maglio.

At the Centro sportivo di Cornaredo, even after the partial demolition of the stadium, several facilities remain, including a skatepark, a synthetic field for field hockey, a grass field for Football Club Lugano training, and two synthetic fields. FC Lugano's home matches are played in a temporary stadium.

The athletics track is open for 100-meter sprints, but it is available only to members of SAL Lugano. Public changing rooms (numbers 9 and 10) are freely accessible near the unpaved Gerra area, for those who want to run outdoors.
