The SSM represents all employed workers in the electronics media sector (radio, TV and internet): video-editors, radio or TV anchormen, secretaries, cameramen, screenwriters, online editors, journalists and sound technicians.

The SSM has struck a collective bargaining agreement with the SSR (Swiss Radio-Television Company).
