CATEF is the Ticinese association of natural and legal persons, whose main objective for the last 50 years (1960-2010) has been:

  • to protect Ticinese land property
  • to safeguard real estate property
  • to promote economic well-being by disseminating land property

It provides legal consulting to members and safeguards their interests even as representatives of the profession in all of the most important Federal and Cantonal committees, dealing with land problems and housing in particular. It also participates in all of the Federal and Cantonal consulting procedures dealing with land issues. It is also present in the Settlement Office which deals with rent issues in the Canton.
