The structure housing the four changing rooms of the Reseghina ice rink is located on the land occupied by the two pre-existing rinks, within the triangular space left free, bounded by buildings, access ramps to the parking garage, and Via Chiosso.
The project for the changing rooms, including toilets and shower facilities, stems from the feasibility study prepared by the Dicastero immobili (Real Estate Department) in 2009.
The shape of the buildable area, the pre-existing buildings, planning constraints, and the functional needs of the structure determined the layout, volume, and levels of the triangular-shaped building, which is developed over two levels and is partially underground relative to the level of Via Chiosso. The building is compact, also to minimize energy losses.
The architectural expression of the structure forms an organic whole with the existing Resega sports facilities, echoing their materials and finishes.
On the ground floor are the four changing rooms, toilets, showers, facilities for disabled users, and a service room. The lower level houses the heating, sanitary, and electrical substations, a new AIL transformer room, and a large storage area that can be divided based on needs. On the green roof, ventilation systems are installed.
